Job Role Overview

An Application Support Engineer plays a vital role in ensuring the seamless operation of critical business systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in application support by leveraging expertise and experience to provide effective solutions.

  • Engage with multiple teams and contribute to key decisions by analyzing data and providing insightful recommendations.
  • Provide solutions to problems within and across teams by utilizing automation tools and software detective skills.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities and improve overall performance.
  • Monitor system performance and address potential issues proactively by implementing proactive maintenance strategies.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Azure IaaS and its applications in real-world scenarios.
  • Strong understanding of network configurations and security protocols to ensure secure data exchange.
  • Familiarity with automation tools for deployment and management to streamline processes.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and resolving application performance issues through root cause analysis.

Additional Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Microsoft Azure IaaS and its practical applications.
  • 15 years of full-time education with a focus on IT and computer science.
