Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer to join our growing team and take ownership of building applications from vision to production. As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our SaaS platform.

About the Role

  • Experience with building RESTful APIs using NodeJS is essential.
  • Proficiency in front-end development using React JS/ES7/VueJS is required.
  • Asynchronous programming skills including Promises, async/await, & ES7 generators are necessary.
  • Familiarity with Git (preferably GitHub), Bitbucket, or other modern code repositories is required.
  • A strong bias for action and ownership prioritized execution is expected.
  • Ability to work within cloud-native applications deployed in AWS infrastructure (code deploy, compute engine, RDS, Lambdas) is required.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in full stack engineer in Typescript/JavaScript development is required.
  • Node.js API development in AWS (lambdas) is essential.
  • React, Redux, and ES6/7 for front-end development is required.
  • Stylus CSS; exposure to SASS or LESS is beneficial.
  • JavaScript front-end tools such as yarn and Webpack are required.
  • Other JavaScript skills: Objection.js, Knex.js are beneficial.
  • Working knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, Postgres); ability to craft and execute queries and navigate a relational datastore is required.
  • Deployment: AWS technologies – Lambdas, Cloud Formation, Route53, Code Deploy is essential.

Good-to-haves

  • Previous exposure or desire to build and lead the development team is beneficial.
  • Previous startup experience would be a huge plus.
  • Ability to work with other offshore developers is required.
  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Wiki, and other development tools is beneficial.
