Cloud Application Specialist

This is a specialized position that requires an individual with in-depth knowledge of cloud applications to lead the deployment, configuration, and administration of Oracle Cloud ERP, EPM, and OTM applications. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of overall ERP administration experience, including 3+ years of experience administering Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications.

  1. The selected individual will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of these applications, ensuring seamless integration, and providing top-notch support throughout their lifecycle.
  2. A key aspect of this role is managing application metadata, provisioning configurations, domains, and components within Oracle Fusion Cloud Security.
  3. The successful candidate will also be required to design and implement user security and roles, perform system/service maintenance tasks, backup and recovery procedures, and monitor performance metrics to ensure reliability and recoverability.
  4. In addition, the Cloud Application Specialist will develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics reports to track service detail and notifications, as well as work closely with internal teams, third-party vendors, and Oracle to maintain environment schedules, refreshes, and outages.
  5. A team player with excellent communication skills, the chosen candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for all issues related to Oracle Fusion Cloud applications and collaborate with Security, Network, Development, and Product Teams to identify and resolve issues.
  6. Last but not least, the Cloud Application Specialist will document system requirements, process flows, and business continuity and disaster recovery processes to ensure continued operations.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • Proven experience leading full Oracle Cloud ERP implementation projects, involving requirements, design, testing, and roll-out.
  • Mandatory working knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, IT Change Control processes, Deployment Methodologies, and Application Server Life Cycle Management.
  • Excellent English communication skills and a desire to teach and mentor other engineers.
  • Advance skills in MS Office (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with varying deadlines.
