Key Role in DevOps Transformation

The Technical Lead for DevOps serves as a crucial strategic and technical leadership position within an engineering team.

This role plays a vital part in shaping and advancing the organization's DevOps culture and capabilities.

  • Define and execute the DevOps strategy for application development, ensuring alignment with business goals and organizational standards.
  • Architect, implement, and optimize end-to-end CI/CD pipelines for multiple application teams, ensuring fast, reliable, and secure delivery of software releases.
  • Lead the automation of manual tasks throughout the application lifecycle, including testing, deployment, infrastructure provisioning, and monitoring.

This involves driving innovation, enhancing deployment pipelines, and promoting CI/CD practices to support operational excellence.

Main Responsibilities
  • Spearhead the implementation of DevOps methodologies across all applications, fostering collaboration between development, operations, and quality assurance.
  • Drive technological innovation by exploring AI-enhanced tools and industry-leading practices to shape and evolve long-term DevOps strategies.
  • Evaluate and integrate new tools and technologies to optimize the software delivery lifecycle, ensuring high-velocity application delivery.
Requirements
  • Overall experience of 13+ years in IT industry, minimum 8 years of experience in DevOps.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) are highly desirable.
  • Experience of DevOps toolchains (Jenkins, Git), scripting (YAML, Python), and application development frameworks.
