We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Operations Support Engineer to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring the availability, reliability, and performance of cloud infrastructure and applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Run production environment by proactively monitoring availability and system health for cloud-based platforms.
  • Improve reliability and quality through automation, process refinement, and best practices.
  • Measure and optimize system performance for efficient resource utilization and optimal user experience.
  • Ensure services are available and monitor critical applications to guarantee system availability.
  • Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters and related cloud infrastructure.
  • Implement containerization strategies and orchestration best practices.
  • Manage and troubleshoot Robin storage solutions within the Kubernetes environment.
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for cloud-native applications.
  • Responsible for cloud resource provisioning, scaling, and cost optimization.
  • Collaborate on high-priority incident tickets, ensuring rapid system recovery for impacted services.
  • Interface with developers when issues arise, providing technical insights and support.
  • Lead Problem Management efforts, including Root Cause Analysis, for complex incidents affecting cloud deployments.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Deep expertise in Kubernetes, with cluster deployment, management, and troubleshooting for high-performance telecom workloads.
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, with focus on enterprise-grade infrastructure.
  • Containerization technologies, such as Docker, and strong proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Go, or Bash.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform or Ansible.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools, like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
  • Knowledge of telecommunications network architecture, components, and interfaces, particularly Radio Access Network (RAN) and Core Network (EPC/5GC).
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a methodical approach to debugging complex distributed systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A strong desire to learn, adapt, and drive continuous improvement in processes and systems.
