Financial Leadership Opportunity

The Role: A seasoned professional will lead our finance team, overseeing the entire lifecycle of grants from due diligence to disbursement and reporting.

  • Grant Management: Ensure accurate utilization and timely reporting in line with donor requirements and statutory norms. Strengthen processes for compliance, transparency, and accountability.
  • Accounting and Financial Oversight: Supervise day-to-day accounting, ledgers, reconciliations, and payables/receivables. Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closings and preparation of financial statements.
  • Budget Planning and Forecasting: Lead annual budget planning exercises and provide financial insights, scenario analysis, and risk assessments to aid decision-making.
  • Compliance, Governance, and Agreements: Ensure global laws, FCRA, and NGO-sector regulations compliance. Draft/review agreements, MoUs, and contracts in line with legal and policy requirements.
  • Process Improvement: Drive digitization and automation of financial processes (accounting, grant, payments). Implement robust internal controls and continuous process improvements.

Key Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in finance leadership roles
  • Proven track record of managing multiple grants and budgets
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
