About the Role

The position reports to the India Country Manager and the Global Finance Controller based in the US.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all accounting operations, including billing, accounts receivable/payable, general ledger, and revenue recognition.
  • Prepare and publish timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Coordinate budgeting and financial forecasting processes.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and tax filings.
  • Develop and maintain internal control systems and accounting policies.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Lead financial audits and liaise with external auditors.
  • Support strategic financial planning and decision-making.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role (typically 5+ years).
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS).
  • Proficiency in financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A qualified Chartered Accountant.
