Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be an exceptionally organized, methodical professional with both agile and software development experience necessary to take our products to the next level with respect to defect rates, automation, and performance.

  • The successful candidate will have strong analytical skills, along with excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Build tools and tests that help create customer experiences that delight our customers.
  • Develop functional test cases, System & Integration Test cases and test artifacts used in SDLC.
  • Execute manual and automated test cases that validate functionalities, code quality and report results following formal test architectures and project processes.
  • Track metrics for each sprint, report to management.
  • Document testing results, including expected behavior, actual behavior and detailed steps to reproduce any defects.
  • Provide quality sign-off to project teams and execute testing duties assigned.
  • Configure QA performance/load test design and execution to ensure high performance software environment under load.
  • Incorporate client usage and feedback into test scripts to mimic end user behavior in QA.
  • Diagnose problems and report bugs and enhancements to the Agile squad.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in STEM or related field required.
  • 3+ years of application testing experience.
  • Experience with use case generation, manual testing, bug lifecycle management and Relational database models.
  • Understanding of GUI tools to interact with Relational/ Document based databases and SQL.
  • Experience working in Agile environment.
  • Exposure to bug tracking and test case management tools (JIRA, Azure TFS, Git).
  • Experience testing and working with multi browser and mobile device systems.
  • Good customer empathy and strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment and passionate about building amazing products.
  • Strong analysis and problem solving skills.
  • Experience in C#, JUnit/TestNG, Jenkins, Playwright, Selenium, SoapUI.
  • Experience in creating Playwright, Selenium, REST API, Junit test automation.
  • API testing experience using tools such as Postman and JMeter.
