Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented professional to join our organization in a Senior Associate role. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing day-to-day financial activities, including accounts payable and receivable processing, invoice verification, and expense management.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely completion and accuracy of financial reports
- Review and approve journal entries and reconciliations, identifying any discrepancies or anomalies
- Evaluate and implement process improvement opportunities, enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in finance and accounting, preferably in a BPM/SSC or similar environment
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, with the ability to apply theoretical concepts to real-world scenarios
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word, with the ability to create complex spreadsheets and presentations
- Experience with accounting software, such as QuickBooks, or SAP, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
