Manual Test Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Manual Test Engineer to join our team.

  • This is a full-time permanent role that will be based in Engineering - Software & QA department of our organization.
About the Role:

The primary objective of this position is to conduct manual testing of Salesforce applications, ensuring they meet functional, performance, and security standards. This includes developing comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business requirements and technical specifications.

You will work closely with the development team and stakeholders to understand the functionality and provide feedback during the development lifecycle. Additionally, you will participate in requirements gathering to gain clarity on new features and enhancements.

Your responsibilities will include creating and maintaining quality assurance documentation, including test plans, test cases, and user acceptance criteria.

Furthermore, you will assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and work with users to ensure they are satisfied with new functionalities before release. You will also perform post-release validation and provide support to end-users during deployments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Salesforce applications.
  • Conduct manual testing of Salesforce configurations, custom code (Apex), Visualforce pages, Lightning components, and integrations.
  • Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking systems.
  • Create and maintain quality assurance documentation, including test plans, test cases, and user acceptance criteria.
  • Assist in UAT and work with users to ensure they are satisfied with new functionalities before release.
  • Perform post-release validation and provide support to end-users during deployments.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience in QA/testing, with at least 1-2 years of experience testing Salesforce applications.
  • Experience with manual and automated testing on the Salesforce platform, including Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components.
  • Proficiency in creating and executing test cases, scenarios, and test scripts for Salesforce customizations and third-party integrations.
  • Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Provar, or similar.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce testing environments, including Sandboxes, Change Sets, and deployment processes.
