Transaction Advisory Manager Job

A high-profile Transaction Advisory Manager is required to lead and execute complex finance, valuation, due diligence, and tax advisory projects. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise and the ability to act as a trusted advisor to founders and investors.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Financial Retainerships: Serving as a strategic financial partner to start-ups, overseeing budgeting, MIS reporting, cash flow, and investor communications.
  • Valuations: Supporting valuations for fundraises, secondary transfers, and M&A transactions in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Due Diligence: Leading buy-side/sell-side due diligence projects including financial health checks, revenue/margin analysis, working capital assessments, and historical reviews.
  • Tax Advisory: Providing tax structuring advice for business models and transactions, including cross-border setups, holding structures, ESOPs, and exits.
  • Client Management & Team Leadership: Managing multiple client engagements with professionalism and responsiveness, mentoring junior colleagues, and ensuring high-quality deliverables.

The required qualifications for this role include:

  • CA with 4–6 years of relevant experience in transaction advisory at a mid-tier boutique advisory or in a start-up finance team with exposure to FP&A and fundraise projects.
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards, taxation laws, financial modeling, and valuation principles.
  • Proven track record in client servicing and team management.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
  • Prior experience working with start-ups or within the start-up ecosystem is highly preferred.
