Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned reliability expert to lead our Site Reliability Engineering efforts.

  • Reliability & Performance:
    • Oversee high availability and reliability of critical services.
    • Define and monitor key performance indicators, service levels, and agreements to meet business requirements.
  • Incident Management & Response:
    • Develop and improve incident management processes and on-call rotations.
    • Lead root cause analysis for high-priority outages.
  • Automation & Tooling:
    • Implement automated solutions to reduce manual operational tasks.
    • Enhance system observability through metrics, logging, and distributed tracing tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic APM).
  • Collaboration:
    • Partner with software engineering teams to improve application and infrastructure reliability.
    • Work closely with product/engineering teams to design scalable systems.
  • Leadership & Team Building:
    • Manage, mentor, and grow a team of SREs.
    • Promote reliability best practices across the organization.
  • Capacity Planning & Cost Optimization:
    • Perform capacity planning and implement autoscaling solutions to handle traffic spikes.
Skill Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • System Administration: Strong background in operating systems, networking, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Scripting Languages: Proficiency in languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Distributed Systems: Experience with designing and deploying scalable systems.
  • Monitoring and Logging: Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Elastic APM.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
