Job Description:

We are seeking an Engineering Manager to join our founding team at Expertia AI. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and refining product development and testing.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage staff and assign tasks to engineering and technical personnel.
  2. Lead teams in the development of new products, solutions, and processes.
  3. Oversee project logistics and resource allocation.
  4. Improve the efficiency and sustainability of processes and product designs, and reduce waste.
  5. Secure the resources needed for teams to excel, including researching and proposing capital investments.
  6. Help create and oversee project budgets and engage in cost management strategies.
  7. Attend trade shows and conferences, and visit suppliers' facilities.
  8. Advocate on behalf of team members by securing adequate resources for success.
  9. Communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders, including investors and potential customers.
  10. Maintain high-level expertise in your field or sector.
  11. Ensure processes meet quality and safety compliance guidelines.
  12. Collaborate with other team leaders and departments.

Qualifications:
  • Experience working with seed-stage startups undergoing significant growth.
  • Strong proficiency in Node.JS and React.JS Framework.
  • Expert-level knowledge of sector technology and processes.
  • Strategic thinking, critical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
  • Leadership, team building, mentoring skills, personnel, and project management skills.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Flexible thinking, including the ability to pivot and try new approaches when faced with challenges.
  • Proficiency in using presentation software to explain complex information to non-technical management personnel and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects in various stages simultaneously.
  • Past use of Agile/Scrum or similar collaborative tools is a plus.
  • BE in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other related degrees.
