Manual QA Tester

We are seeking a highly skilled Manual QA Tester to join our team. As a key member of the Quality Assurance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our e-commerce platforms.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and has a strong understanding of end-to-end testing of e-commerce workflows such as product listings, cart functionality, checkout, and payment integration.

You will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing system specifications and business requirements, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle, designing and executing test cases (manual) for web and mobile platforms, performing regression, functional, integration, and UI testing for e-commerce features, identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar, validating fixes and conducting re-testing as needed, working closely with developers and product managers to resolve issues, and contributing to continuous improvement of QA processes and documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 5–7 years of experience as a Manual QA Tester
  • Proven experience testing e-commerce platforms or applications
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle
  • Hands-on experience with test case management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr)
  • Experience working with issue tracking tools like JIRA
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Familiarity with cross-browser and mobile testing
Nice to Have:
  • Experience in API testing using Postman or similar tools
  • Familiarity with databases and ability to write basic SQL queries
  • Knowledge of automation tools (e.g., Selenium) is a plus but not required
  • Exposure to platforms like Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, or custom-built e-commerce systems
