Overview:

This role involves combining medical science and writing skills to create high-quality materials for clients. The ideal candidate will be able to develop engaging scientific content, work effectively with cross-functional teams, and stay up-to-date with the latest developments in their field.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive scientific materials, including slides, abstracts, posters, manuscripts, and infographics, that meet client requirements and internal standards.
  • Collaborate with clients, healthcare professionals, and internal stakeholders to build strong relationships and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, authors, and vendors to ensure successful project execution.
  • Participate in workshops, seminars, and training sessions to enhance skills and contribute to organizational objectives.
  • Work closely with client directors to develop innovative medical communications initiatives that drive results in the digital space.
  • Ensure all materials adhere to client requirements, SOPs, style guides, and internal standards.
  • Contribute to making complex research accessible to specific audiences by maintaining current awareness of developments across therapeutic areas or disciplines.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in scientific writing.
  • PhD/MD (Pharmacology) OR PhD (Life Sciences) OR PharmD with a strong understanding of clinical research and medical communication.
  • Experience working on publications.
  • Clear, concise scientific writing style with excellent language skills.
  • Strong communication skills, especially with clients.
  • Ability to adapt writing style to different materials and target audiences.
  • Basic knowledge of biostatistics.
  • Literature reviewing and evaluation capabilities.
