Remote Laravel Developer Intern

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a remote Laravel developer intern.

  • A strong foundation in PHP, particularly core concepts and MVC architecture, is essential for this role.
  • Familiarity with database management using MySQL or PostgreSQL, including query writing and relationship understanding (one-to-one, one-to-many, many-to-many), is crucial.
  • The ability to integrate HTML, CSS, JavaScript fundamentals into Laravel views is necessary.
  • An understanding of how to consume and build REST APIs is required.
  • Familiarity with Git/GitHub version control and Composer package management is necessary.
  • Bug troubleshooting and error handling using Laravel's error logs is an essential skill.
Preferred Skills
  • AJAX / jQuery for dynamic frontend interactions would be beneficial.
  • Knowledge of Bootstrap / Tailwind CSS for styling and responsive design is desirable.
  • Laravel's built-in auth system basics for authentication & authorization would be an asset.
  • Understanding of Laravel testing (PHPUnit, feature tests) is beneficial.
  • MVC knowledge in general would be an advantage.
