We are seeking a skilled Mainframe Tester to join our team of experts who specialize in delivering top-notch technology services and solutions.

Job Summary:

As a Mainframe Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our mainframe systems. You will be responsible for creating and executing test cases, analyzing logs and identifying root causes of issues, and collaborating with development teams to resolve errors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and strategies to ensure thorough testing of mainframe systems.
  • Analyze complex technical requirements and design effective test cases to meet business needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing tasks and ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Develop and maintain detailed test reports and documentation to facilitate knowledge sharing and improve testing processes.
  • Participate in continuous learning and professional development programs to stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in mainframe testing or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of mainframe operating systems, including JCL, TSO/ISPF, and DB2.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to identify and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing project priorities and deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

  • Agile testing methodologies and tools.
  • Experience with automation testing frameworks and tools.
  • Knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools.
  • Certifications in mainframe testing or a related field.
