Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer III to lead our team in delivering innovative solutions.

The successful candidate will have expertise in Linux System Admin and Bash Scripting, with experience in managing AWS cloud-based production systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Expertise in Linux System Admin and Bash Scripting
  • Experience in managing AWS cloud-based production systems
  • Understanding network topologies and common network protocols and services (DNS, HTTP(S), SSH, FTP, SMTP)
  • Hands-on experience with Shell Scripting, Perl, Python
  • Experience in Monitoring Tools like Datadog, ELK, etc.
  • Hands-on experience in one of the tools for Infrastructure as a Code - like Terraform
  • Experience in creating Jenkins Declarative Pipelines
  • Experience in Implementation of CI-CD using Jenkins
  • Experience in Build and Deployment of multi-environments, including production
  • Knowledge on one of the git repos, preferably GitHub
  • Excellent proficiency in problem-solving and troubleshooting technical issues
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Motivation to drive tasks to completion and take ownership of projects

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in software development
  • Strong understanding of system administration and scripting languages
  • Experience with AWS and cloud-based systems
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Perl, and Shell
  • Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as Datadog and ELK
