**Job Opportunity:** Senior Backend Developer

Synopsis:

We are looking for a skilled Senior Backend Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, developing, and deploying complex backend systems.

About the Role:

This position is responsible for leading the development of backend systems, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and efficient. The successful candidate will work closely with the engineering team to design and implement new features, as well as troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

The role also involves mentoring junior engineers, providing guidance and support to help them grow in their careers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop high-quality backend systems using Python, Java, NodeJS, or TypeScript.
  • Leverage AWS services such as EC2, S3, SQS, Lambda, ECR, and ECS to build scalable and secure solutions.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance system performance and efficiency.
  • Mentor junior engineers to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
  • Contribute to the development of technical documentation and processes to ensure seamless communication within the team.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • At least 6 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on backend systems.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Experience with JIRA and Confluence project management tools.
