• Lead a team responsible for vehicle-level NVH delivery throughout the development cycle, overseeing all phases.
• Guide and track vehicle benchmarking initiatives and establish robust target setting for multiple vehicle programmes to ensure excellence in NVH performance.
• Meticulously review and monitor test plans while coordinating and executing NVH development activities during physical prototype stages through cross-functional team collaboration.
• Provide coaching and guidance to your team to ensure smooth implementation of NVH suggestions while balancing constraints related to weight and cost.
• Deliver vehicle and system-level NVH performance targets across multiple domains, including BIW NVH, sound package NVH, trimmed body NVH, chassis engineering, CFM, suspension and tyre NVH, glass and seals, mounts, as well as seats and steering systems.
• Meet NVH targets for PT NVH, road noise, and wind noise.
• Track and plan for NVH risks, deploying effective solutions to secure NVH deliverables on schedule.
• Develop and manage resources, anticipating current and future NVH technology needs and capabilities.
• Innovate and establish new processes and technology frameworks from an NVH perspective to maintain a competitive edge.
• Participate in subjective jury trials, ensuring alignment with programme targets through comprehensive feedback and continuous improvement.
• Foster cross-disciplinary collaboration and drive excellence in NVH engineering practices throughout the organisation.

• 14-18 years of experience in vehicle NVH development, demonstrating a deep understanding of NVH requirements and solutions across various vehicle architectures.
• Proven expertise in applying vehicle NVH development tools and methodologies to diagnose and resolve complex NVH issues.
• Grounded knowledge in vehicle NVH simulation techniques to predict and improve NVH performance early in the development cycle.
• Proficiency with advanced NVH analysis tools, including test laboratories, Muller BBM systems, and sophisticated techniques such as ASQ, PCA, TPA, and Sound Power measurements.
• Well-versed with powertrain, driveline, chassis, suspension, sound packaging, and mounting systems, applying refinement expertise throughout development and benchmarking phases.
• Familiarity with current and emerging NVH technologies and innovative approaches.
• Understanding of design, manufacturing, and NVH countermeasure strategies.
• Demonstrated success in leading NVH initiatives that enhance vehicle refinement and customer satisfaction.
• Mechanical Engineering or Design Engineering degree, such as M.Tech or ME, from reputable institutions.
• Excellent academic record, ideally with a GATE score above 90%, and from premier institutes such as IITs or reputed regional government engineering colleges.
• Continuous professional development and certifications in NVH-related domains would be advantageous.
