Product Design Leadership Opportunity

Shape the future of user experience by leading our product design team and driving design strategy.

This is a unique opportunity to lead a talented team of product designers, setting a vision for user experience across our products. As the Senior Director of Product Design, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet user needs while pushing the boundaries of what is possible.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and drive a holistic design vision for our products, ensuring a consistent user experience across internal and external applications.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of product designers, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Engage in early client discussions to shape design strategy, translating needs into actionable insights.
  • Establish and streamline design operations to improve efficiency, quality, and consistency across teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to align on product strategy, goals, and roadmaps.
  • Advocate for the user through research, testing, and feedback, ensuring design decisions are informed by a deep understanding of user needs and behaviors.

Requirements:

  • 12+ years of experience in product design within a technology or product-centric company.
  • Proven experience leading a team of designers who design and ship AI-powered products or features.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional design skills, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of user-centered design principles.
  • Expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, with a track record of using data to inform design decisions.
  • Excellent relationship management skills working in a technical environment with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working on AI-powered products and/or curiosity about the rapidly evolving landscape and its impact on design and user experience.
