Financial Modeling Expert Needed

We seek a seasoned and organized professional with exceptional analytical skills to join our dynamic team of financial experts.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support clients in the REIT / Real Estate Industry, providing expertise on multifamily, office, industrial, and retail asset classes.
  2. Develop and audit comprehensive financial models for operating and non-operating cash flow, levered and debt cash flow, joint venture & waterfall, Argus valuation models (single property and portfolio), lease abstracting, and rent roll analysis.
  3. Perform valuations for commercial real estate properties using income capitalization approach (DCF & direct capitalization), sales comparison approach, and cost approach.
  4. Model REIT income statements and balance sheets, understanding revolver, interest expense & circularity, and modeling future development, FFO & CAD.
  5. Prepare pitch books, information memorandums, industry studies, company profiles, and discussion documents related to various industries.
  6. Conduct M&A deal runs and potential target & buyer screenings using databases like Greenstreet, RCA, Argus, Costar, Capital IQ, PitchBook, Mergermarket, and FactSet.

Meet project timelines and quality of deliverables to ensure high client satisfaction. Conduct analysis, perform quality control checks on outgoing reports/packs, and structure deliverables.

Required Background:

  • Post-graduation in Finance or equiv. qualification (CFA, MBA (finance), CA or equiv).
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in Investment banking space or commercial real estate valuation.
  • Strong statistical and analytical skills to assess economic performance/analysis of companies and industries for clients.
  • Ability to work independently and possess management/leadership skills to run research on a day-to-day basis.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills with experience in Client handling.
  • Working knowledge of databases such as Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Thomson Research, FactSet, etc.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite, especially Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
