Lead Academic Advisor

A key role in our academic department seeks an experienced individual to support the management of programs. The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in Physiotherapy and fifteen years of total experience, including five years as Professor (Physiotherapy).

  • Manage and enhance academic functions within the faculty or institute.
  • Ensure smooth implementation of academic programs within the faculty, coordinating with departments to ensure curricula are up-to-date.
About this Role

This position is responsible for supervising the regularity of all academic sessions across constituent colleges within the faculty.

  • Maintain proper decorum and quality of teaching in all classes and labs within constituent colleges under the faculty.
Responsibilities
  1. Implement protocols for examinations conducted by the university in constituent colleges under the faculty.
  2. Assist Principals and Vice Principals in analyzing teaching load and determining the need for additional teachers.
  3. Promote research activities within the faculty and encourage faculty and students to engage in research projects and publish their work.
  4. Serve on academic committees, such as the Board of Studies and Faculty and Academic Council, providing input and guidance on agenda items.
  5. Evaluate and improve academic programs in line with institutional goals and accreditation standards.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Master's in Physiotherapy (M.P.T./M.Th.P./M.Pth./M.Sc. P.T.) with fifteen years total experience.
  • Higher qualification like Ph.D. in any discipline of Physiotherapy recognized by the UGC and published work of high standard in peer-reviewed journals.
