Financial Data Leadership Role

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Strategic Data Planning: Develop and implement a data strategy that aligns with our goals. Establish governance policies to maintain data quality, consistency, and security.
  2. Team Development: Provide training and development to enhance the team's skills in data management and reporting.
  3. Reporting & Insights: Oversee the creation of dashboards and reports, delivering key insights to stakeholders. Ensure reports are accessible, reliable, and relevant, focusing on performance metrics, customer insights, and operational efficiencies.
  4. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (Technology, Finance, Operations, Marketing, Credit and Analytics) to identify data requirements, integrate data across systems, and support data-driven initiatives.
  5. Infrastructure & Tools: Work with Data Engineering to assess, select, and implement data tools and platforms to optimize data storage, processing, and reporting capabilities. Maintain and improve our data infrastructure to support scalability and data accessibility.
  6. Compliance & Security: Ensure adherence to data privacy laws and compliance standards, implementing best practices in data security and privacy.

Qualifications include 5-10 years of experience in data management and reporting with at least some in a leadership role, a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field, proficiency in data visualization tools, SQL, and data warehousing solutions, strong analytical abilities, excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills, and enthusiasm for working across cultures, functions, and time zones.
