Business Insights Manager Role

About the Opportunity:

This leadership position plays a crucial role in spearheading customer and business analytics initiatives. The successful candidate will drive strategic decisions by providing actionable insights, influencing promotion strategies, measuring customer engagement, and fostering advanced analytics adoption.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop key business metrics and analytics solutions to measure customer lifecycle health, retention, and loyalty.
  • Define and operationalize performance indicators to evaluate business outcomes and make data-driven decisions.
  • Lead a small team of analysts, guiding them in methodology, prioritization, and problem-solving.
  • Cultivate expertise in AI/ML tools to improve customer segmentation, churn prediction, and self-serve analytics.
  • Promote collaboration between IT and data engineering teams to enhance data infrastructure, governance, and quality standards.
  • Communicate complex analytics findings clearly and effectively to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in business insights, analytics, or customer intelligence, preferably in B2C retail, lifestyle, or e-commerce.
  • A strong track record in developing and implementing customer metrics (e.g., retention, repeat, churn, CLTV).
  • Hands-on proficiency with analytics tools, dashboards (Power BI, Tableau, or similar), and SQL.
  • Experience in leading a small analytics team or mentoring analysts is highly valued.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML applications in CRM such as churn prediction, propensity models, and uplift modeling is a significant plus.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills are essential for translating data into actionable business insights.
