Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead-Data Engineer to oversee the development and implementation of data engineering solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in data engineering, with expertise in designing and developing large-scale data systems.

  • Lead a team of data engineers to design, develop, and implement data engineering solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop solutions that meet those needs.
  • Develop and maintain complex data models, including ETL/ELT processes and data warehousing concepts.
  • Design and implement scalable and high-performance data systems using Snowflake.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide data insights to inform business decisions.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on enterprise-level data engineering roles.
  • Expertise in OLAP design and deep understanding of data warehousing concepts, including star/snowflake schema and ETL/ELT processes.
  • Strong skills in writing complex SQL queries, including joins, window functions, and optimization techniques.
  • Experience with Snowflake, including warehouses, data ingestion with snow pipe, external integrations, and working with views & tables, UDFs, procedures, streams, tasks, and serverless.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
