The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and familiar with dental billing processes. Key responsibilities include preparing and submitting dental insurance claims accurately and in a timely manner, posting insurance and patient payments in practice management systems, following up on unpaid or denied claims, communicating with dental offices, insurance companies, and patients as needed, and maintaining confidentiality of patient and practice information.
