
Optimize Supply Chain Processes as a Vendor Management Inventory Manager

This is a pivotal role in optimizing supply chain processes, ensuring seamless operations and inventory management.
Key Responsibilities:- Conducting thorough analysis of VMI data to identify areas of improvement and monitor procurement trends.
- Leveraging negotiation skills to establish strategic partnerships with manufacturers and vendors, driving pricing and service excellence.
- Implementing and maintaining group-wide price agreements for critical medical supplies, ensuring accurate inventory management.
- Cultivating strong relationships with vendors, focusing on performance, delivery, and compliance in VMI operations.
- Overseeing the timely receipt of agreed credit notes and Trade Offer Discounts (TODs), guaranteeing inventory accuracy and accountability.
- Developing, monitoring, and auditing standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to VMI, ensuring consistency across all units.
- Tracking and reconciling VMI stock across units to maintain inventory accuracy and accountability.
- Driving the creation and implementation of brand recommendations based on clinical, financial, and operational inputs.
- Maintaining adherence to statutory guidelines to prevent legal or regulatory non-compliances.
- Proactively addressing and preventing audit observations and risks related to VMI practices.
- Establishing and implementing a markup policy for vendor-managed items aligned with pricing strategy.
- A postgraduate degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 10-15 years of experience in supply chain or inventory management, preferably in a healthcare/hospital setting.
- Proven expertise in vendor negotiations, compliance, and SOP implementation.
- A deep understanding of healthcare procurement dynamics, regulatory requirements, and VMI models.
