Job Role: CSA Site Engineer

Tata Electronics Private Limited is a greenfield venture of the Tata Group with expertise in manufacturing precision components.

We are building India's first AI-enabled state-of-the-art Semiconductor Foundry, producing chips for applications such as power management IC, display drivers, microcontrollers (MCU) and high-performance computing logic.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design & Technical Leadership
    • We review design drawings, specifications, and shop drawings to ensure that our construction aligns with the original design intent.
    • We collaborate with design consultants to resolve technical conflicts and implement design changes.
    • We lead value engineering initiatives to optimize cost and performance.
  • Site Execution & Coordination
    • We monitor site activities to guarantee compliance with design and quality standards.
    • We manage site modifications and incorporate them into design documentation promptly.
    • We facilitate coordination between contractors, consultants, and client teams.
    • We conduct regular site walks and provide progress reports.
  • Stakeholder & Communication Management
    • We represent the client in technical meetings and workshops.
    • We serve as the primary point of contact for technical queries (TQs) and RFIs.
    • We ensure timely resolution of design and execution-related issues.
    • We maintain clear documentation of decisions, changes, and approvals.
  • Compliance, Safety & Quality
    • We ensure adherence to local codes, safety standards, and client specifications.
    • We support QA/QC inspections and audits.
    • We review method statements and risk assessments from contractors.
    • We flag non-conformances and drive corrective actions.
  • Project Controls & Documentation
    • We track progress against design and execution milestones.
    • We support project scheduling and resource planning.
    • We maintain logs for drawings, approvals, changes, and technical queries.
    • We assist in preparing reports for client leadership and stakeholders.

This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and attention to detail. A successful candidate will have experience in managing complex projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. They should have knowledge of industry-standard software and tools, as well as excellent problem-solving skills.
