A global accounting firm is seeking a highly skilled Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join their team.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and manage accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and financial statements for US-based clients.
  • Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and other financial data regularly.
  • Prepare month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing reports to ensure compliance with US tax regulations.
  • Monitor accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely payments and collections.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws by preparing and filing tax returns in accordance with IRS guidelines.
  • Assist clients with tax planning to minimize tax liabilities while maximizing legal deductions.
  • Review and analyze tax notices and correspondence to assist clients with resolution.
  • Provide regulatory compliance and advisory services to clients to ensure they meet all necessary requirements.
  • Support clients with financial audits, tax audits, and related assessments.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • CPA or EA qualification preferred but not mandatory.
  • Candidates pursuing CPA/EA are welcome.
  • 0-3 years of experience in US bookkeeping, tax preparation, or financial compliance.
  • Knowledge of US GAAP, IRS regulations, and state-specific tax laws.
  • Fresh graduates with strong knowledge of US taxation and accounting practices are encouraged to apply.
  • Proficiency in accounting and tax software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, TurboTax, Lacerte).
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations and US reporting standards.
  • Ability to prepare financial statements, manage ledgers, and support audits.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with high accuracy.
  • Effective communication skills for interacting with clients and internal teams.
