Accounting Leadership Role

This position involves managing day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable and general ledger entries.

Key responsibilities include assisting in the preparation of financial statements, management information reports and monthly closing activities.

A strong focus is placed on ensuring compliance with statutory requirements including GST, TDS, PF, ESI and Professional Tax.

Additionally, you will support internal and statutory audits, guaranteeing timely completion with accurate documentation.

Reconciliation tasks such as bank, vendor, customer and inter-company transactions also fall within your remit.

Assistance with budgeting, forecasting and cost analysis is another key aspect of this role.

Monitoring working capital, including receivables follow-up and vendor payments, is a crucial responsibility.

Collaboration with cross-functional teams is vital for smooth financial processes.

  • Required qualifications and skills include being a semi-qualified Chartered Accountant (CA-Inter) with 3–4 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation and compliance is essential.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software/ERP systems, preferably SAP/Tally, is required.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills are necessary for success in this role.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment is a must.
  • Strong attention to detail and time-management skills are also required.
