Job Title: Corporate Counsel

The Legal Department is seeking a qualified Corporate Counsel to provide legal and compliance solutions to business. This role requires 8-14 years of relevant experience in a legal and compliance position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver independent legal regulatory compliance services, including monitoring risk and compliance issues and implementing risk mitigation/remediation solutions.
  • Offer guidance and assistance in reviewing/drafting policies, guidelines, and standard operating procedures related to regulatory compliance.
  • Advising on issues pertaining to data protection and privacy legislations, including incident management and record retention management.
  • Support on cyber security compliance and risk management, including advising on and reviewing disclosure requirements to regulators.
  • Provide advisory services on compliance with immigration laws in EU, APAC, and MEA regions.
Requirements:
  • Hold an LLB/LLM degree along with relevant experience as compliance counsel preferably in multinational corporations.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of applicable regulations, including those relating to Data Privacy, Cyber Security, Immigration, and Mobility.
  • Utilize independent project management skills, including interaction with external and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage/support review and audit exercises in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Possess good communication, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion in sensitive matters.
