Lead Data Architect Role

This is a dynamic and challenging opportunity for an experienced Lead Data Architect to design, implement, and optimize a robust data warehousing platform for the pharmaceutical industry.

  • Design Logical and Physical Data Models: Develop efficient data storage and retrieval strategies.
  • Develop ETL Processes: Accurately and efficiently move data from various sources into the data warehouse.
  • Implement Technical Infrastructure: Plan and implement hardware, software, and network components.
  • Ensure Compliance: Maintain data quality and security while adhering to regulatory standards.
  • Continuously Improve Performance: Monitor and enhance the data warehouse's ability to handle large volumes of data and complex queries.
  • Define Semantic Layer Architecture: Manage the lifecycle of semantic constructs, including consumption into downstream systems.
  • Integrate Multiple Sources: Ensure consistency and accessibility of integrated data.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Proven experience in data architecture and data warehousing, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and infrastructure design.
  • Experience with data governance and regulatory compliance in the life sciences sector.
  • Proficiency in using Axtria DataMax or similar data management products.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
