Senior Azure Databricks Engineer

Exciting Opportunity for a Seasoned Data Engineer

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Azure Databricks Engineer to join our team. As a key player in our organization, you will be responsible for designing and developing scalable data pipelines, ETL processes, and Databricks notebooks and workflows.

This role requires extensive experience in data engineering projects, collaborating with stakeholders, writing complex SQL queries, and optimizing Spark jobs for efficient data processing and storage. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

  • 6+ years of experience in development and maintenance in a data engineering project.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Experienced in writing complex SQL queries and knowledge of SQL Analytical functions.
  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using Databricks.
  • Optimize Spark jobs and ensure efficient data processing and storage.
  • Develop and maintain Databricks notebooks, workflows, and dashboards.
  • Proficient in building and optimizing data pipelines and workflows in Databricks.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline issues and performance bottlenecks.
  • Monitor and manage data processing jobs to ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Work with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud to integrate Databricks with other services.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Scala.
  • Stay current with the latest Databricks and big data technologies and trends.

Our ideal candidate has experience working in data engineering projects, collaboration with stakeholders, SQL query writing, Databricks design and development, and ETL process optimization.
