Senior Data Architect - Core Engineering

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Data Architect to design and scale the core data foundation behind our enterprise SaaS products.

This critical role will lead the development of clean, scalable models, drive data strategy, and enable high-velocity product development. Key responsibilities include:

  • Architecting and maintaining robust semantic layers and dbt pipelines.
  • Owning schema design, documentation, and data contracts across analytics and application layers.
  • Defining and enforcing data platform best practices, versioning, and governance for all data models.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in backend or data engineering roles, with deep expertise in designing and maintaining normalized and dimensional data models.

Requirements:

  • Expertise in SQL, with a focus on PostgreSQL.
  • Strong Python scripting skills for transformation logic and automation.
  • Proven experience with modern data tools, including dbt, PostgreSQL, Airflow, and GitHub Actions.

Leadership & Communication Skills:

  • 6+ years in engineering leadership, architecture, or tech lead roles.
  • Excellent collaboration skills across engineering, product, and analytics teams.

Mentor a growing team of engineers and participate in architecture planning and reviews. Prioritize projects and tasks to meet business needs and goals.
