Job Title: API Automation Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our API automation testing efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and build test automation frameworks from scratch using Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
  • Develop and execute automated tests for RESTful APIs using Rest Assured, Postman, or Karate.
  • Cross-browser testing/automation using SauceLabs or BrowserStack.
  • Mentor a team of quality engineers in test automation best practices.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 6-10 years of experience in Java development and 5+ years of experience in API automation testing.
  • Strong expertise in building Scenarios with BDD frameworks like Cucumber, Specflow, or similar.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL and ability to develop complex queries.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Bonus Points:

Experience with agile methodologies and version control systems like Git.
