Senior Storage Solutions Manager

We are seeking an experienced and strategic IT professional to manage enterprise storage infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments, focusing on secure, compliant, and high-performance storage systems.

• Storage Architecture & Design
  • Design and implement scalable, resilient storage solutions (SAN, NAS, object, and cloud storage) that meet current and future business needs.
  • Evaluate new technologies to align storage infrastructure with current and future business requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for integrated storage solutions.
• Operations & Management
  • Lead daily operations of storage platforms, ensuring uptime, reliability, and capacity planning to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
  • Implement and maintain enterprise-wide backup, archiving, and retention strategies to ensure data integrity and compliance.
  • Monitor performance, availability, and health of storage systems using industry best practices.
• Cloud & Hybrid Storage
  • Manage and optimize hybrid and cloud storage platforms (e.g., AWS S3, Azure Blob, GCP) to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
  • Oversee data migrations, integrations, and lifecycle policies in cloud-based environments to ensure seamless transitions and minimal disruptions.
  • Ensure consistency, availability, and compliance across multi-cloud and on-prem deployments.
• Security & Compliance
  • Implement storage-level security measures, including encryption, access control, audit logging, and anomaly detection to protect sensitive data.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, HIPAA, SOX, GDPR, and data integrity standards.
  • Partner with Quality/Regulatory teams for audits, inspections, and documentation readiness to ensure a smooth certification process.
• Industry-Specific (Pharma & Life Sciences Focus)
  • Support regulated systems such as LIMS, MES, ERP, QMS, and clinical applications to ensure data integrity and compliance.
  • Ensure secure data handling across R&D, Quality, Regulatory, and Manufacturing domains to minimize risks and ensure quality outcomes.
  • Manage high-performance computing (HPC) storage for genomics or bioinformatics data to accelerate research and development.
  • Oversee cold storage, scientific data repositories, and long-term archiving strategies to preserve valuable research data.
• Governance & Vendor Management
  • Define and enforce storage governance policies, procedures, and service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure consistent and high-quality storage services.
  • Manage vendors for hardware, software, and cloud storage, including contract and SLA negotiations to optimize costs and services.
  • Optimize licensing, procurement cycles, and vendor performance reviews to ensure maximum value from storage investments.
• Disaster Recovery & Resiliency
  • Develop and test storage resiliency, failover, and disaster recovery (DR) strategies to ensure business continuity and minimize downtime.
  • Ensure systems meet recovery time objectives (RTOs) and recovery point objectives (RPOs) targets and business continuity plans are in place.
• Project & Budget Management
  • Lead complex projects such as migrations, upgrades, and new implementations to ensure timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Develop and manage annual storage budgets, track expenditures, and drive cost optimization to ensure maximum ROI from storage investments.
  • Report on key performance indicators (KPIs), risks, and project milestones to stakeholders to ensure transparency and accountability.
