Job Title: Senior Software Test Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Senior Software Test Engineer to lead our quality assurance team and deliver high-quality software products.

  • Leadership Role: Manage QA deliveries, collaborate with the development team, and report to QA manager for continuous feedback and improvement.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with engineers to understand product architecture and functionality to ensure good-quality feature delivery.
  • Time Management: Meet project deadlines and maintain high standards of all quality processes on every release.
  • Ownership: Take complete ownership of release deliverables and multitasking responsibilities.
  • Artifact Generation: Generate test plans, test cases, and execution reports, deployment guides, etc.
  • Defect Identification: Identify, document, and track defects, collaborating with the development team to resolve issues.
  • Test Environment Setup: Prepare and configure test environments, including software installations and configurations.
  • Exploratory Testing: Conduct exploratory testing to find defects that might not be covered by test cases.
  • Deployment: Deploy microservices applications in engineering environments.
  • Support: Support SRE teams for production releases.
  • Process Improvement: Improve processes for test plan reviews, ensuring thoroughness of test scenarios.
  • Troubleshooting: Assist in troubleshooting customer issues and providing root cause analysis whenever needed.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in functional and automating testing of SAAS products.
  • Leading teams of 3-5 engineers.
  • Experience on public or private Cloud platforms.
  • Certification of AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring all development tasks meet quality criteria through test planning and automation planning.
  • Leading QA deliveries and reporting to QA manager for continuous feedback and improvement.
  • Collaborating with the engineering team to understand product architecture and functionality.
  • Preparing and configuring test environments.
  • Conducting exploratory testing to find defects that might not be covered by test cases.
