Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update cost accounting master data, including standard costs and other processes.
  • Ensure accurate and timely intercompany transactions, including customer and vendor setup and maintenance.
  • Prepare and process intercompany billing and transfer price adjustments.
  • Collaborate with external service providers to coordinate and monitor activities, review work, and address issues in a timely manner.
  • Reconcile relevant general ledger accounts, such as goods in transit.
  • Develop and implement internal controls to ensure quality standards and compliance requirements are met.
  • Partner with corporate groups to ensure proper accounting of inter-company related transactions.
  • Identify opportunities for standardization and drive improvements to increase cost efficiency and quality.
  • Provide audit and reporting support for corporate external reporting, corporate audit, external auditors, tax compliance, and statutory financials by country affiliates.

About You:

  • You hold a Doctorate degree or equivalent qualifications.
  • Alternatively, you have a Masters degree and 4-6 years of finance experience, a Bachelors degree and 6-8 years of finance experience, or a Diploma and 10-12 years of finance experience.
  • You possess knowledge of financial management and accounting principles.
  • You have a strong understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • You have experience with ERP systems and financial software.
  • You are a resourceful leader who can connect the dots across a matrixed organization.
  • You have managerial and financial experience in a global, multi-site corporation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • You hold an Advanced degree in finance, accounting, or MBA.
  • You are a Chartered Accountant (Certified public accountant), CMA, CFE, or other professional certification relevant to the accounting profession.
  • You have extensive accounting and FP&A experience.
  • You have experience supporting cross-functional senior leaders of an organization.
  • You have experience preparing executive communication, including written and oral presentations.
  • You have the ability to manage multiple competing priorities in parallel.
  • You have familiarity with the pharmaceutical/biotech industry.
  • You have experience with global finance operations.
  • You have proficiency in data analytics and business intelligence tools.
  • You have business performance management skills.
  • You have finance transformation experience involving recent technology advancements.
  • You have prior multinational capability center experience.
  • You have experience with SAP (ECC and/or S4), Blackline, Workiva, Tableau/PowerBI.
