Research Informatics Leadership RoleOur organization is seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to spearhead our Research Informatics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding the team in charting the course for our global research operations, enabling technology and data capabilities that drive scientific innovation.Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage diverse teams within a matrixed organization, developing talent and motivating staff while championing diversity and servant leadership principles.
  • Partner with research and technology leaders to create technology delivery strategies and prioritize agendas for biological studies, ensuring scientific data operations are scoped into building research-wide AI/ML capabilities.
  • Provide leadership for the implementation and support of specialized technology platforms that enable streamlined and automated scientific data management, adhering to global standards and best practices.
  • Oversee operating and product team budgets, serving as a point of contact for unmet service commitments and ensuring effective communication of key performance metrics.
  • Remain accountable for ensuring overall organizational compliance with GxP and Privacy requirements, facilitating best practice sharing and ensuring ongoing alignment with the Technology & Digital strategy.
Qualifications:
  • A Master's degree with extensive experience or a Bachelor's degree with significant experience in a relevant field such as Life Sciences, Computer Science, or Bioinformatics.
  • Demonstrated expertise in a scientific domain area and related technology needs, with proven experience building strong teams in matrixed organizations.
  • Experience in a leadership role within a pharmaceutical or technology organization is highly preferred, with knowledge of Agile processes and principles for coordinated solutions and teams via SAFe.
  • SAFe Agilist, Certified Agile Leader, or similar certifications are beneficial.
