Accounting Manager

Our finance team is looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee daily accounting operations, prepare and file GST returns, calculate and file TDS returns, and ensure statutory compliances.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily financial activities using Tally ERP
  • Prepare and file GST returns in a timely and accurate manner
  • Calculate, deduct, and file TDS returns in compliance with applicable laws
  • Ensure all statutory compliances, including Income Tax, PF, ESI, are met as per deadlines
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Perform bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable processes efficiently
  • Assist with payroll processing and ensure relevant statutory deductions
  • Support the finance team during internal and external audits
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all financial transactions
  • Analyze financial data and provide relevant insights for decision-making
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field; M Com preferred
  • 3-5 years of hands-on accounting experience, particularly in Indian taxation
  • Advanced proficiency in Tally ERP; familiarity with other accounting software is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of GST laws, compliance, and return filing processes
  • Proficient in TDS computation and compliance
  • Experience in financial reporting, data analysis, and audit support
  • Sound knowledge of statutory requirements, including PF, ESI, and Income Tax
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • High attention to detail, with a strong focus on accuracy
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
