Lead Solar Project Sales

The position involves working closely with management, technical teams, and project teams to ensure effective lead generation, proposal preparation, client engagement, and successful execution of solar projects.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales Strategy & Business Development
    • Develop and execute sales strategies for solar projects in line with business objectives.
    • Conduct market research to identify potential leads and opportunities.
    • Build strong networks with key decision-makers across government, commercial, and industrial sectors.
    • Deliver impactful sales presentations explaining solar energy solutions.
  • Proposal & Contract Management
    • Assist in preparing accurate technical and financial proposals.
    • Collaborate with technical teams to define project scope and cost estimates.
    • Support contract negotiations and finalize agreements with clients.
  • Client Relationship Management
    • Maintain and strengthen client relationships through regular communication and post-sales support.
    • Address client queries and resolve project-related issues.
    • Ensure client satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling additional services.
  • Project Coordination
    • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
    • Track project progress against timelines and budgets while aligning with client expectations.
    • Monitor performance of completed projects and suggest areas for improvement.
  • Sales Reporting & Forecasting
    • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, leads, and client interactions.
    • Provide periodic sales reports and forecasts to the Sales Head.
    • Analyse sales data to identify patterns and improve strategies.
  • Industry Knowledge & Networking
    • Stay updated on solar technology, industry trends, and renewable energy developments.
    • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking forums.
