Job Title: Senior Component EngineerWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Component Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the lifecycle, quality, and compliance of all electronic and electromechanical components used in smart meter hardware.This position requires strong knowledge of component qualification processes, proactive vendor management, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams to support continuous product innovation and reliability.The ideal candidate will have more than 3 years of experience in comprehensive testing of components, including lifecycle tests and ageing, to identify, evaluate, and approve for smart meter designs.Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering (master's preferred)
  • 5–10 years of experience in component engineering, hardware design, or related fields
  • Experience in smart meter manufacturing or allied electronic manufacturing industries is highly advantageous
  • Strong understanding of smart meter standards (IEC, IS, DLMS/COSEM) and compliance requirements
  • Proficiency in electronic supply chain, vendor qualification, and lifecycle management
