  • The primary responsibility of this role is to conduct thorough valuations of businesses, business interests, and intangible assets for financial reporting purposes.
  • Analyze historical financial and operating results of target companies to identify trends and potential risks.
  • Conduct in-depth financial statement analysis (e.g., common size analysis, ratio analysis, trend analysis, and industry comparative analysis).
  • Perform market/industry research and develop comprehensive growth estimates.
  • Construct and review complex valuation and other financial models.
  • Present findings and recommendations to internal management and external clients.
  • Collaborate with junior personnel, guiding engagement activity and providing guidance as needed.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field required; advanced degree and/or certifications preferred.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience performing work related to fair value of debt, equity, purchase price allocation, and/or goodwill impairments in a public accounting, consulting, or investment banking environment.
  • Thorough understanding of financial valuation theory, methodologies, and traditional valuation methods such as discounted cash flow method, guideline public company method, and guidance transaction method.
  • Experience in valuing contingent consideration and valuation for mergers & acquisitions, and other transactions.
  • Proficiency in working with high-level financial databases and tools.

  • Demonstrated track record of managing multiple high-stakes projects and delivering under tight deadlines.
  • Strong technical skills working with financial models in Excel.
  • Ability to travel if required.
