Our team is seeking a skilled Commis to join our bakery kitchen. This exciting role offers a challenging opportunity to develop your skills and grow with our company.

The Commis will be responsible for preparing food and supporting the senior kitchen team in daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate orders to plan shift operations efficiently.
  • Organize mise en place for current and next shifts.
  • Coordinate with front-end and production teams.
  • Prepare Raw Material Indent Chart for the next day.
  • Plan preparation tasks for the next shift.
  • Create duty roster for staff assigned to the shift.
  • Assist Sous Chef in overseeing daily bakery kitchen operations.
  • Take charge of the bakery section in absence of the Sous Chef.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Minimum 4-5 years experience in a bakery or hotel kitchen environment.
  • Certification/Diploma in Bakery or Culinary Arts preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of bakery production processes.
  • Ability to lead a team and manage operations independently.
