Backend System Developer Position

Overview of the Role:

  • We seek a skilled Backend System Developer to design and implement scalable backend systems.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java programming, proficiency in designing microservices, working with relational and non-relational databases, and deploying applications in cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design high-performing, scalable backend systems using Java.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
  3. Deploy applications in cloud environments, utilizing Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
  4. Implement Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins for automated deployments.
Requirements:
  • Strong hands-on experience in Java programming.
  • Solid understanding of microservices architecture and its implementation in cloud-native environments.
  • Proficiency in working with relational and non-relational databases.
  • Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, especially using Jenkins.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, including cloud architecture best practices.
  • Exposure to Elastic Search, Python, and messaging systems like Kafka is an asset.
