We are seeking a Senior Team Lead to advance our mission by empowering merchants to provide a seamless and frictionless payment experience.

As a key member of the Financial Operations Team, you will be instrumental in ensuring an effective and efficient operating model is maintained for reconciliation and settlements.

The responsibilities we entrust you with include:

  • Managing and supervising reconciliation and settlements related activities
  • Processing all payments and transactions within pre-set standardized turnaround times
  • Working cross-organizationally to identify key opportunities and develop plans to capitalize on those opportunities
  • Ensuring operational risk is effectively managed and addressed in all aspects of the payments and settlement function
  • Leading projects related to payments and reconciliation, ensuring timely completion and cost efficiency

You will be responsible for preparing regular management information and analysis for senior management, ensuring effective monitoring and control.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum of 5 years of banking experience, preferably from International Payment Gateways, Fintech, Acquiring settlement and Banks
  • Proven leadership skills with predominant experience of merchant's settlement and reconciliation of payment Gateways transactions, refunds, cash management and nostro reconciliation
  • Qualification: Minimum of graduation from a recognized University, Preferred choice will be from the accounting background (B.COM)
