Senior Accountant Company Details Location Kollam Kerala Position Senior Accountant Department Accounts Finance Employment Type Full-time Experience Level Senior Level Position Overview We are seeking a qualified CA Inter passed candidate with expertise in Tally to join our team as a Senior Accountant in Kollam The ideal candidate will assist and manage all accounting operations while supporting the overall functions of the accounts department Key Qualifications Education CA Inter passed Mandatory Software Skills Expertise in Tally Mandatory Location Must be based in or willing to relocate to Kollam Experience 2-5 years in accounting and finance roles Key Responsibilities Primary Accounting Functions Maintain and manage all accounting records and transactions Handle day-to-day accounting operations including journal entries ledger maintenance Prepare and maintain books of accounts using Tally software Ensure accurate data entry and reconciliation of accounts Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures Financial Management Prepare financial statements and reports Handle accounts payable and receivable management Manage cash flow statements and bank reconciliations Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis Monitor and track expenses and revenues Compliance Documentation Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations Maintain proper documentation for all financial transactions Assist in preparation of tax filings and statutory returns Support internal and external audit processes Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules Team Support Coordination Assist and support all team members in the accounts department Coordinate with other departments for financial data collection Provide training and guidance to junior accounting staff Handle queries from management regarding financial matters Additional Responsibilities Prepare MIS reports for management review Assist in vendor management and payment processing Support in inventory valuation and cost accounting Handle petty cash management and expense reimbursements Participate in process improvement initiatives Required Skills Competencies Technical Skills Proficiency in Tally ERP Advanced level Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices Understanding of GST TDS and other tax regulations Experience with MS Office Suite Excel Word PowerPoint Knowledge of banking operations and reconciliations Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Team player with leadership potential Job Type Full-time Pay 35 000 00 - 50 000 00 per month Work Location In person
