Physical Design Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Design Engineer to contribute to the development of innovative products. As a Physical Design Specialist, you will be responsible for all aspects of physical design, encompassing floorplanning, placement, budgeting, clock tree planning and analysis, scan reordering, clock tree synthesis, placement optimization, routing, timing, and signal integrity analysis.

The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of electronic design automation tools such as DC, ICC2, Cadence Innovus, STAR-RC, PT-SI, Verplex, Quartz, Calibre, and internal tools & flow. They will collaborate closely with the methodology team to resolve implementation challenges and provide valuable insights to enhance the physical design process.

Apart from this, the successful candidate should have experience in design automation, comprehension of timing constraints, signal integrity prevention, and power reduction. Prior experience with Synopsys/Cadence/Mentor place and route tools is mandatory, along with proficiency in Unix/TCL/Perl. Effective communication and presentation skills are essential for this role, requiring strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities.
