Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to perform technical checks on files daily, ensuring our subtitles meet industry and Deluxe standards. The ideal candidate will have exceptional attention to detail, good comprehension and communication skills, and be able to work under tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Subtitle Conformity: Ensuring language subtitles meet client requirements and industry guidelines.
  • Reference Material Verification: Checking subtitles against reference material related to the project.
  • Error-Free Final Product: Implementing required instructions to ensure consistency and error-free final product.
  • High-Quality Work: Maintaining an average quality yield of 99% throughout the year.
  • On-Time Delivery: Ensuring timely delivery for all clients.
  • Project Updates: Updating work trackers and Project Notes to denote accurate status of projects.
  • Feedback and Communication: Providing feedback to other users and departments, and communicating clearly with clients.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Mentorship: Mentoring and coaching newer recruits to bring them up to expected quality standards.
  • Teamwork and Improvements: Promoting teamwork and suggesting improvements to the platform or subtitling workflows.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Audio Sensitivity: Exceptional audio sensitivity – ability to understand various English accents.
  • Communication Skills: Good comprehension and communication skills.
  • Cultural Knowledge: Broad cultural knowledge and wide range of interests.
  • Technical Proficiency: Technically proficient in Microsoft Office and Computers.
